✨ Just published: my latest article for Art Miami ✨ Just published: my latest article for Art Miami Magazine — The Wolfsonian–FIU at 30: Design’s Past, Miami’s Present, and a Global Future 🍸🪑🏍️ Walking through the museum felt like stepping into a living time capsule — each object a thread connecting past innovations with today’s world. I loved exploring how the Wolfsonian uses everyday items to tell stories about design, culture, migration and global exchange. So much gratitude to the curatorial team for letting me in — it’s a reminder that design isn’t just about objects, but about people, memory, and the future we build together. At the Freedom Tower, history is never singular—it At the Freedom Tower, history is never singular—it unfolds in layers ⚽️🏆🥇🌎 In my latest for Art Miami Magazine, I reflect on how the @fifa exhibition Unidad: The World’s Game exists in dialogue with the building itself—a site shaped by migration, memory, and collective identity. Here, soccer becomes more than sport; it becomes a shared language. Set within a landmark that once welcomed those in search of refuge, the exhibition takes on a deeper resonance. It speaks to movement—across borders, across cultures, across generations—mirroring the very journeys embedded in Miami’s history. What unfolds is not just a celebration of the global game, but a reminder of its power to connect—to unify billions through a common rhythm, a collective pulse. ✨ New article live! ✨ I just wrote about @elespac ✨ New article live! ✨ I just wrote about @elespacio23 expansive new exhibition, “A World Far Away, Nearby and Invisible: Territory Narratives in the Jorge M. Pérez Collection” — a show that unfolds like a compass inside that cool, cavernous Allapattah warehouse, asking us to think about territory as something we stand on and something we carry. 🌍🧭 Curated by Claudia Segura Campins in dialogue with Patricia Hanna and Anelys Alvarez, it brings together nearly 150 works by over 100 artists and moves through four poetic chapters—pulse, making, whispers, shelter—mapping land as memory, myth, politics, and refuge. ✨🌀 Thank you, El Espacio 23, for having me and for keeping this experience free to the public—Miami needs spaces like this. 🤍 Read the full piece (link in bio) #ElEspacio23 #ArtMiamiMagazine #MiamiArtScene #Allapattah #JorgeMPerezCollection #ContemporaryArt #TerritoryNarratives #ArtWriting

I had the pleasure of covering “Bodyscapes” — @load.gallery based art reimagined for Miami’s Design District — for Artburst Miami, and one of the highlights was my insightful and inspiring conversation with @vivekjayaram . 🙌 We explored how the body becomes landscape, how movement informs identity, and how artistic dialogue evolves when transplanted across cultures. Vivek’s perspective on Miami’s creative community added such depth to the story — thoughtful, generous, and energizing. Dive into the full article via the link in bio to discover how this installation blurs boundaries between space, form, and self. 🌐🌀 Grateful for these conversations that expand how we see art… and ourselves.

Odyssey is the kind of exhibition that stays with Odyssey is the kind of exhibition that stays with you—long after you’ve left the gallery. In my latest for @artmiamimag , I reflect on the profound dialogue between Belkis Ayón and Carlos Alfonzo—two artists whose practices, though formally distinct, converge through themes of faith, exile, myth, and memory. Presented at @moadmdc at Miami Dade College, Odyssey is not simply an exhibition—it’s an encounter. A reckoning. A space where visual language becomes emotional and spiritual terrain. To witness their work in conversation is to understand how art holds both personal and collective histories—how it becomes a vessel for resilience, for longing, for transcendence. Light, in this exhibition, is not symbolic—it is t Light, in this exhibition, is not symbolic—it is theological. In my latest for Artburst Miami, I reflect on Light of the World at the Olga M. and Carlos A. Saladrigas Art Gallery—an exhibition that traces the figure of Christ across centuries, cultures, and visual traditions. What emerges is not a singular image, but a continuum: from Russian icons to Renaissance painting, from the Cuzco School to contemporary practices, each work offering a distinct encounter with the divine. This is not simply a survey of sacred art—it is an invitation to consider how image becomes devotion, how representation becomes prayer. Across time, artists have not only depicted Christ, but have sought to understand Him—materializing faith through form, surface, and light. Within the context of Miami, the exhibition resonates even more deeply—bridging Latin American, European, and diasporic traditions into a shared spiritual language. New article is live on Artburst Miami 🔥🧵 I wrote New article is live on Artburst Miami 🔥🧵 I wrote about Zoë Buckman’s solo exhibition “Who By Fire” at Mindy Solomon Gallery—where the domestic becomes devotional, and vintage linens turn into a vigil stitched with grief, love, identity, and survival. The show draws its title from Leonard Cohen’s reworking of the High Holiday prayer Unetaneh Tokef, and Zoë translates that spiritual weight into a bold textile language of ink, paint, appliqué, and dense hand-embroidery. And yes: Zoë is as rad as the work. Our conversation was generous, sharp, and deeply human—one of those talks that stays with you long after you leave the gallery. 💫 Read the full piece—link in bio🪩 #ArtburstMiami #ZoeBuckman #WhoByFire #MindySolomonGallery #MiamiArt #TextileArt #ContemporaryArt #ArtWriting #MiamiArtScene
Still buzzing from seeing Tony Robbins LIVE at the Still buzzing from seeing Tony Robbins LIVE at the American Business Forum in Miami 🧨🇺🇸 The way he talked about energy, ownership and possibility hit different in person — and it reminded me what it really means to be a creator, not just a consumer. Here are 5 qualities of a true creator I’m leaning into after that event👇 1️⃣ Hunger to grow – Never “arrived.” Always asking: What can I learn? Who can I become next?
2️⃣ Courage to be seen – Posting, speaking, launching before it feels perfect. Letting your voice be louder than your fear.
3️⃣ Obsession with serving – Creating from impact, not just attention. Asking: How can this help someone today?
4️⃣ Relentless consistency – Showing up on the days you’re tired, busy, or uninspired. Momentum > motivation.
5️⃣ Resilience & reinvention – Using setbacks as raw material. A creator doesn’t stop; they pivot and create again. Seeing Tony live made this crystal clear: your content is just the echo of who you’re becoming. Which of these 5 qualities do you want to strengthen right now? 👇 #TonyRobbins #AmericanBusinessForum #Miami #CreatorMindset #DecideToScale #EntrepreneurLife #PeakPerformance #mindsetmatters
